Advancing Green Chemistry

At the Green Chemistry and Commerce Council (GC3), our vision is to co-create a world where green chemistry is standard practice throughout the value chain. The mission is to drive the commercial adoption of green chemistry by catalyzing and guiding action across all industries, sectors and supply chains. We do this strategically by (1) developing and promoting tools, policies and business practices to drive green chemistry throughout supply chains; (2) fostering collaboration among businesses, government, non-governmental organizations, and academic researchers, and (3) identifying and leveraging enablers of green chemistry adoption. The end goal is to create a global agenda on how to mainstream green chemistry.
