#FutureofWork: Build It, Don’t Buy It
Description:
The skills gap is only getting more challenging. Highly-skilled positions are going unfulfilled, and there’s still discrepancy on the best way to approach this issue. One unique take on this challenge is an all-in approach to build new technology talent by creating meaningful apprenticeships. This session will provide best practices for creating true partnerships between educational institutions, professional associations, the government and companies to foster true workforce transformation. Discover how organizations can embrace a “build” mindset and create an internal infrastructure to support the development of existing talent. Also learn how many groups (students, mid-career professionals, veterans and more) will have new access to technology job opportunities through this approach.
