SXSW EDU 2020
Democratizing Purpose
Description:
Young people today are faced with a seemingly endless laundry list of boxes to check in order to "succeed" in higher education and beyond. Yet it can be all too easy to lose themselves in this process. Purpose and agency are more important than ever as young people navigate a rapidly changing future. This workshop makes “purpose” tangible and applicable. Plan to walk away with the tools and mindsets to help learners (including yourself) build agency and instill a practice of lifelong learning.
