Enhancing Quality: Informal Child Care in Detroit
Description:
90% of a child’s brain develops before age 5. High quality early care is critical to ensure that children are ready for success in school and life. Informal child care provided by family, friends, and neighbors is an important component of the early care and education system, especially in communities that lack access to licensed child care programs.
