Transcending Playtime: Empowering Female Gamers

Description:

The word "gamer" often incorrectly reflects a negative stigma, but many don't realize that 46% of mobile gamers are women (NewZoo Study 3.5.19). A new wave of mobile apps and games, including Glu Mobile's Kim Kardashian Hollywood, Covet Fashion and Design Home, are facilitating female empowerment and matching women's interests and motivations by offering socially connected gaming platforms and imaginative experiences beyond playtime. As the Vice President and General Manager of Covet Fashion, Sarah Fuchs will share industry insights revealing how social game play is ushering in a new era for women, allowing them to easily connect with a community of like-minded players equally passionate about building authentic connections and fostering their creativity.
