Transcending Playtime: Empowering Female Gamers

The word "gamer" often incorrectly reflects a negative stigma, but many don't realize that 46% of mobile gamers are women (NewZoo Study 3.5.19). A new wave of mobile apps and games, including Glu Mobile's Kim Kardashian Hollywood, Covet Fashion and Design Home, are facilitating female empowerment and matching women's interests and motivations by offering socially connected gaming platforms and imaginative experiences beyond playtime.
