Reef Builders: The Unlikely Partnership Restoring Coral

Description:

Coral reefs are some of the world’s most important ecosystems, 25% of all marine species depend on them and they are also vital to the 1B people who are reliant on them–but they are in trouble. If reefs are to continue providing for people and our planet, we need drastic, scalable interventions–and we need them now. Can a simple steel structure on which coral can grow be the key to helping restore these ecosystems around the world? This panel will explore how companies partnering with local communities can drive immediate action to grow hope for a sustainable future for people and our oceans.
