SXSW 2020
Me, Myself & AI: An Experiment in Digital Cloning
Description:
We’re giving over our phone data, vlog entries & social media info to an AI in an experiment that will see us create our own AI clones and explore ideas of self in an age of machine learning & big data. The AI system will be a fusion of state-of-art techniques in Deep Learning & Natural Language Processing. From the collection of our personal data, the AI will generate a visual & conversational artificial representation of ourselves. We will present our process, reveal results & introduce our AI clones at SXSW. We’ll host a conversation on stage between us and our Version 2.0s to see how similar our views are. Audience participation is encouraged - attendees can pose questions to both us & our AI counterparts to see if we answer in the same way. Will our AI clones be better versions of us?
