Description:
Has your students' use of the N word turned into a viral social media post? Do you worry about anti-immigrant sentiment erupting on the playground? Does fear of potentially saying the wrong thing keep you from talking about race? In this workshop, you will learn how to engage in conversations about race. Participants will emerge with a clearer understanding of the role & impact of race on K-12 campuses & leave with practical tools to help build more inclusive teaching & learning spaces.
