With a predicted shortfall of 3.5M tech workers by 2026, America needs women to join the tech industry. That begins by interesting girls in tech, but studies show they abandon STEM by 9th grade. So how to close this gap? Novel idea: ask the girls. This panel of female teen technologists dives deep on how to engage and keep girls in tech. From what topics interest them most, to pressures from adults and boys to abandon their passion, to what kind of tech-enabled future they see for themselves; this frank and eye-opening discussion will change how you look at girls and women in tech.
