Tech Libraries Yield High Returns & Expand Access
Description:
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Technology Lending Library serves 122 elementary schools and 17 Philadelphia regional high schools. In the 2018-2019 school year, the Lending Library saved schools $50,000 in technology purchases alone. Additionally, this free program provided over 1000 students with meaningful educational experiences using AR/VR, robots, drones, coding and 3D design and printing. Removing the financial barriers & providing high quality coaching increased technology equity.
