While the form factor is better suited for sci-fi, the concept could be a premonition of a new wave of machines. Every first world country is experiencing a major demographic shift with an aging baby boomer population. Social scientists are already decrying the lack of caregivers to support this fragile group, accelerating the adoption of technology into the lives of seniors and their families.
