Shark Story: A Guide to Preserving our Oceans

Description:

Valentine Thomas tells us how she left the business world to live off spearfishing. Valentine has been diving since 2011, armed with a spear gun, to catch one fish at a time. This practice has opened her eyes to where our food comes from and the importance of choosing healthy, local, ethical, and responsible food.

Valentine Thomas studied criminal law and worked in London as a financial analyst. After six years, she quit that highly paid job to live a simpler life and focus on her new goals. Today, she's a diving instructor, a world-renowned spearfisher woman, an accomplished chef, and an advocate for sustainable food and responsible fishing.
