Description:
This panel explores why teachers go into the tech and engineering industry, and why they choose to either leave or stay in the teaching profession. We will talk with teachers or former teachers about their career decisions and what spurred and blocked their career paths. Topics include what skills teachers offer for the tech industry, overcoming obstacles to these career changes, how to retain quality teachers, and how to attract STEM professionals into teaching.
