SXSW 2019
Death of the Office
Description:
For the past few years the imminent demise of the physical office has been predicted by futurists, analysts and industry pundits alike. The workplace, however, remains alive and well, and is quickly becoming the vehicle for organizational reinvention. Properly executed, the next-generation workplace will be the catalysts for breakthroughs in innovation, teamwork, organizational responsiveness and profitability. To achieve this, organizations must rethink their workplace strategy, specifically how workspace design, human resource policies and technology can come together. In this session Mark Miller will discuss the shape of the next-generation workplace, and will share insights and best practices learned from transforming the work environment within Cisco.
