The "Story of Appalachia" What does entrepreneurial success look like in Appalachia? Success stories about entrepreneurs need to be cultivated and shared to help increase the notion that entrepreneurship is open and accessible to all, regardless of geographic location. Appalachian Regional Commission is essential for many of these success stories. This panel will bring together and highlight the unique contributions of diverse innovative entrepreneurs in rural locations and the significant role they play in the development of economic opportunities. The panel will explore ways to increase funding for rural innovation & entrepreneurship; options with philanthropy, public grants, angel investors, foundations, traditional methods and how funding rural should be highlighted.
