Description:
How can K-12 schools & educators amplify the experiences of LGBTQ+ students? What are strategies for taking an intersectional approach to this work? National organizations GSA Network & GLSEN will share best practices for adults in schools & share successful models of how educators have collaborated with student groups. Frameline & It Gets Better Project will discuss approaches to leveraging the power of queer film to inspire, engage, and raise awareness, and highlight free resources available.
