SXSW EDU 2019

Implementing Virtual Reality in the Classroom

Description:

Although Virtual Reality (VR) has profound potential to enrich educational experiences, few educators have had the chance to experiment with VR in the classroom -- and far fewer have had the chance to create their own virtual content. Rooted in the experience of educators who developed a surgical simulation for high school students, this workshop will enable educators to experience virtual reality, and learn about the challenges and opportunities of creating their own virtual resources.
