SXSW 2019
How To Share Opportunities in the Age of Algorithm
Description:
If we want the future of global entrepreneurship to truly drive world's prosperity, we must tackle a deeply rooted phenomenon: the concentration of world-class opportunities within a few global hubs. We must descentralize resources and as a result, democratize opportunities and choices for underrepresented regions and their innovators. On a digital age, WHY geographies should still determine the probability of success for talented teams and individuals? In the age of algorithmic businesses, we will show how we can share overflowing high-end opportunities and resources from stablished hubs with out-of-the-spotlight talents, hacking the global innovation supply chain with the support of decentralizing tech such as blockchain, AI, and Big Data.
