SXSW 2019

Relationships Made Easy: Open Honesty

Description:

Leon Feingold is a TED speaker, author, advice columnist and advocate for polyamory: the orientation/lifestyle which acknowledges people can engage in multiple meaningful simultaneous relationships, as long as everyone involved knows and consents.

The lessons he has learned, personally and via communal wisdom, are incredibly helpful for teaching anyone how to overcome socialized pressure in order to identify and find authentic personal needs and wants, which can be translated into happy, healthy relationships.

The workshop will begin with a screening of Leon's TED Talk, then break off into smaller groups where participants will learn to overcome cultural barriers in order to identify their authentic needs and wants, to build relationships based on honesty with themselves and others.
