SXSW 2019

Getting Social with Food Wine and Spirits

Description:

Wine Crawl was created to take the "edge" off learning about different wines. The event hosts a private tour of restaurants and wine bars in particular cities to help novices as well as experienced oenophiles to venture into new establishments in their cities. The experience has turned into a social and bonding event that has created a viral audience of over 1 million. Wine crawls are now held in 6 major cities and is growing and helping introduce audiences to independent, women, and minority owned spirits, winemakers, restaurants and vineyards where they have difficulty getting acceptance into local establishments. Reshaping the way people experience not only food and wine but what their own cities have to offer.
