SXSW 2025

Political Engagement Through Games

Description:

A fireside chat between me and a political representative and/or a political scientist in which we discuss the utility of harnessing game dynamics to drive civic engagement and education.
The discussion would highlight tech companies offering game solutions to civic apathy. We would also look at U.S. in comparison to other countries regarding willingness to experiment with methods of increasing voter engagement and knowledge.
There would be a Q&A session at the end and a brief networking after the panel.
