High School Courses Matter: Academic Intensity for All

Description:

The best predictor of a person’s success after graduation is the intensity of their high school coursework. But today – as a result of unaligned district systems – over half the students nationwide are sitting in the wrong classrooms, missing the opportunity to meaningfully challenge themselves with intense coursework. They are going to graduate – but they won’t be ready for what comes next. In this session we will explore why academic background is more crucial than ever for accessing postsecondary education and clear steps for evaluating educational opportunity in your district.
