SXSW EDU 2025
Innovative Partnerships to Support Youth Mental Health
Description:
The Youth Mental Health Corps (YMHC) is a multi-sector, national initiative led by AmeriCorps, the Schultz Family Foundation, Pinterest, and mental health and workforce development experts. Designed to address the youth mental health crisis and the public health workforce shortage in the US, the YMHC empowers young adults as near-peer navigators in schools and communities while giving them on-ramps into the behavioral health field. Join us to learn how young adults, state and local leaders in Central Texas are using the YMHC to create sustainable solutions to meet youth mental health needs.
