Break the Cycle: Empower Youth with Social-Emotional Skills
Description:
This session explores how Omena uses Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to empower youth and break the cycle of emotional abuse, which can escalate into physical violence if not identified early on and ultimately perpetuates cycles of poverty. Francesca Raoelison, the founder, will share insights on how SEL programs build resilience, foster healthy relationships, and uplift communities out of poverty. Attendees will learn about the transformative impact of SEL and how Omena's blueprint can be replicated in different communities to address trauma and promote emotional health.
