SXSW 2025
Psychedelic Education in War-Torn Regions
Description:
Panel would be a conversation between moderator and speakers to discuss psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) and PAT education through an international lens. We will highlight the impact of past programs, focusing on our work with therapists from war-torn regions such as Palestine and Ukraine. The discussion will focus on the opportunities and considerations when working in conflict-affected regions. We will also discuss the future goals of MAPS’ global impact initiatives and how that fits into MAPS’ mission of healing for all.
