This session builds community across those seeking to integrate culture, society, and liberation into K12 STEM learning, making the field, workforce, and resulting products more inclusive, equitable, and just. We will bring together leading practitioners who have developed liberatory STEM models, researchers advancing technical education and youth civics, and funders looking to sponsor projects at this intersection. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with others in the field, explore partnership opportunities, and learn about exemplary use cases leveraging STEM for social change.
