SXSW 2025
A Reentry Simulation: The Life of a Justice Impacted Person
Description:
This interactive simulation will engage the entire audience as each attendee will be given the identity of a student facing the challenges of our criminal legal system. In blocks of 15 minutes, each attendee will be required to address some of the challenges and barriers faced by individuals both behind and beyond the walls of our prisons and jails, and facing individuals trying to prepare themselves for the next chapter of their lives. This interactive simulation will end with a discussion of lessons learned and possible solutions to improve our correctional and reentry systems.
