Description:

The 1 in 5 college students raising children intersect of many of the populations higher education seeks to serve. In the current environment, where equity is politicized and challenged, student parent solutions are a rare opportunity to transcend the partisan divides that stymy equity in higher education. As policy conversations around child care, reproductive rights, and equity in higher education converge in communities across the country, this session will provide attendees with actionable insights from policy breakthroughs fueled by student parent success in California and Texas.
