What is Youth Apprenticeship? (And why Should I Care?)

Description:

Youth apprenticeship is an earn-and-learn model that is gaining momentum across the U.S. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the number of young adults aged 16-24 participating in Registered Apprenticeships has grown 120% over the last decade. But what is an apprenticeship? And how can it be adapted to provide high-quality postsecondary pathways to help young people finish HS, get a head start on college, and launch their careers, all while earning a wage and building professional networks? Join this session to network with experts and real-live youth apprentice to learn more!
