SXSW 2025
What If America Loved Moms?
Description:
Imagine if all you had to worry about to find child care and care for your elderly loved ones was finding the best fit for your family, no matter your background, zip code or income. Imagine if we had paid leave and quality, affordable child care and we didn’t have to choose between family or careers to be considered a “good mom.” Imagine if child care was reliable, and care providers were paid well and had protections to make their jobs enjoyable and sustainable. Imagine if motherhood came with systems of support to make life a little easier. This panel explores how that future is possible.
