It Gets Late Early: Ageism in the Workplace
Description:
Getting older happens to all of us each day, but your age can become a liability in the workplace - and it can start earlier than you might think. This session spotlights the pervasive issue of age discrimination affecting people at work and impacting recruitment, retention, and advancement in tech companies and the corporate world. We’ll outline the scope of the issue, share our personal experiences and knowledge, and highlight strategies for combating ageism and fostering age-inclusive cultures. A better future of work - for employees and employers - awaits when we embrace age diversity.
