SXSW 2025
Moon Shot for a Healthier Future: Youth & Adults
Description:
Join the nonprofit National Fitness Foundation leaders as we embark on a “moon shot’’ for healthier kids and adults; with a special focus to address our youth health crisis. Some 50M+ children in the U.S. don’t get the recommended amounts of daily physical activity and 30% are overweight. Physical inactivity costs $117B annually and 70% of 17-24-year-olds don't qualify for the military due to health/fitness issues. Meet up with health and fitness innovators including athletes, sports & fitness enthusiasts, and tech leaders looking to inspire transformative change.
