SXSW EDU 2025
Faculty Leadership Beyond the Classroom
Description:
Faculty are asked to take more leadership roles at every stage of their careers. How do faculty decide how much of their career to give these roles? What do the leadership paths look like today? This meet-up is your opportunity to connect with current and aspiring academic leaders. We welcome faculty members stepping out of the classroom – at least part-time - to serve as leaders as well as administrators looking for ways to support faculty leadership development. Join us to share your experiences and questions, and to connect with new colleagues considering similar matters in their careers!
