Hollywood Trailblazer: The Debra Hill Story
Description:
Our proposed session is a panel discussion on the life, works and legacy of prolific filmmaker, Debra Hill. Debra was a trailblazer whose career as a writer/producer kicked off in 1978 with the cult classic ‘Halloween’, following this by producing decades of iconic works including ‘Clue’, ‘The Fisher King’, ‘The Dead Zone’, and ‘Adventures in Babysitting’.
With March 7th 2025 marking the 20th anniversary of Debra’s passing, our panel will include celebrated filmmakers to discuss the legacy left behind by the force that was Debra Hill, and the continued inspiration for future filmmakers.
