SXSW EDU 2025
Code Red: Design for a Better World
Description:
The world is off track to reach Sustainable Development Goal 6 by 2030! What are we going to do about it? Using the design thinking process CLAP (Connect Learn Apply Pitch) participants will work in teams to address one of our world’s biggest problems: water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) with a specific focus on menstrual health. After the interactive exercise, hear from speakers working at these intersections and consider, “How might we use design thinking methods to engage students in STEM and Global Health?” because #everybodypoops and #menstruationmatters.
