Psychedelics Saved Me | Stories of Physical Healing
Description:
Chronic pain affects millions globally; we all know someone who copes with pain in daily life. Pain is complex, making it a good match for the myriad ways that psychedelic substances impact human physiology and perception. Hear from three patients whose pain was dramatically reduced and their lives transformed by the use of psychedelic medicines, providing healing for a spinal cord injury, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and long-COVID. A conversation moderated by Dr. Joel Castellanos, a rehabilitation specialist at the Center for Psychedelic Research at UCSD.
