Workshopping Disease Outbreaks: Who Is Responsible for What?
Description:
From COVID-19 around the world to avian influenza in cattle, responses to emerging infectious disease outbreaks bring leaders from all segments of society together to manage a response. In this workshop, participants will role-play outbreak responders, exploring the constraints of and opportunities available to different roles and coming together with participants from different backgrounds and perspectives to workshop approaches to emerging challenges. This workshop adapts a Georgetown University graduate-level course simulation to a SXSW audience.
