SXSW 2025
The US Evicts More than any Other Rich Country. Can we Stop?
Description:
More than 7 million people are threatened with an eviction every year in the United States. Our eviction rates are twice as much as in Canada and several times bigger than in Europe. But, in the midst of a housing crisis, data and public policy innovations are showing that this reality can change. Experts and policymakers will show how this is not only possible, but it's already happening in some cities.
