SXSW EDU 2025
Your Imposter Syndrome is Fueling the Toxic Workplace
Description:
So you think you have imposter syndrome, huh? This session takes you on a journey starting from the original development of the concept to the modern-day misuse of imposter syndrome. Long story short, psychologists have been misguided and biased. Imposter syndrome has become a tool that causes good people to stay oppressed at school and in the workplace. As a microaggressions researcher, I show you these research microaggressions and will introduce you to the Infiltrator Experience concept that better characterizes our experiences and provides us with tools to thrive in toxic spaces.
