Description:
The current debate around AI vacillates between two ends of a spectrum: will AI be a savior or will it deliver our destruction. This framing mistakenly positions AI as the agent of change. The question is not “what will AI do to our future,” rather it should be “how will we change the fabric of our own existence in the pursuit of AI’s promise.” We are just beginning to understand how we as people and societies will change as we lean into AI, and it is forcing us to recognize how the AI revolution looks different from all other prior technological epochs.
