SXSW 2024

More Than Just Moms: We Are the Key to Better Pediatric Care

Description:

There are 2,400 hours in a child’s first 100 days of life alone—and most of those are spent with mama. Compare that to the 2,080 annual working hours for a full-time employee.

Yet the role of a parent in their child's healthcare journey has been largely dismissed since the onset of the power struggle between patient and provider.

Our panelists will use evidence-based data to provide insights on why integrating the untapped wisdom of parents with technology and storytelling will increase efficacy & restore trust in pediatric healthcare, contributing to long-term societal health outcomes.
