Skills-Based Hiring: How to Move Beyond the Buzz

Currently there are double the number of open jobs as people to fill them. Two-thirds of employers are struggling to find talent. Skills-based hiring can unlock opportunity for qualified candidates and help close labor gaps. But adopting new hiring practices requires a broad shift in mindset; the majority of employers require degrees for entry-level roles, even though only 38% of U.S. adults have a degree.
