Lessons in Law: Cheating Is Now Illegal
Description:
England, Ireland, and Australia now have laws against cheating in academia. Scotland is considering legislation. On this panel a general counsel, professor of law, and a university head of academic integrity dive into the pressing questions: What do these laws specifically do and mean? Are laws against cheating really necessary? Could a student in the United States be breaking a law in England or Australia? Does the United States need these laws, too?
