Equitable Assessment: Missing Elements & Solutions
Description:
There are layers of complexity and barriers in education that undermine equitable access to learning. Among those are hidden biases in assessments. Panelists will identify these barriers and, more importantly, instructional design methods to innovate equitable assessment from the class level to the institutional level. Finally, the panel will highlight high-tech and low-tech solutions to the problem of equitability and inclusivity in assessments.
