Pharmacies have long been a cornerstone of communities. We know our local pharmacists on a first-name basis and trust them to safely dispense prescriptions, offer advice on over-the-counter solutions, and administer the vaccines that can protect us from deadly disease. The role of our pharmacists as part of the healthcare team expanded during the pandemic to the point they are the most relied upon providers of vaccinations, but are these changes here to stay and even grow?
