SXSW 2023

Short & Sweet: Creating Content Gen Z Craves

Description:

Attention spans are decreasing, media consumption is increasing, and consumers are overwhelmed. This session will explore why the attention spans of Gen Z and other generations are shortening so rapidly and how we can understand this trend in order to develop quick, but engaging content and experiences that leave positive impressions on users. The presenters will dive into how to build communities and entertain users through bite-sized social media interactions and live online shopping opportunities. Together, they will present solutions for combating the overwhelming, often negative, and over-saturated media landscape with digestible, community-driven content that leaves users feeling fulfilled, rather than drained
