SXSW 2023
The Future of Work: Supporting Employee Wellbeing
Description:
As a business leader, it’s more important than ever to address stigmas surrounding mental health to create a positive work environment, especially with 1/3 workers concerned about negative backlash and potential job loss if they were to seek out mental health assistance (American Psychiatric Association). Poor mental health can have a detrimental effect on employee wellness, job performance, productivity, and communication if left unaddressed — and unfortunately, the impact of mental health on newly remote workers has only grown since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic (CDC). In this session, experts from Wellness Coach, LiveIntent and HUB International will discuss what employers can do to address mental health within the workplace and how doing so develops a strong company culture.
