Censorship in Cannabis: Tales From the Deleted
Description:
Social media platforms have been actively deleting accounts related to legal cannabis. The deletion of this content significantly prevents fair and equal opportunities in the growing industry. When taking into consideration the significant industry growth, the majority of the cannabis community is in agreement that the industry must remain an equal opportunity playing field. Especially in these critical times prior to federal legalization. Platforms play a large part in the success of these smaller businesses, and equal opportunity is necessary. The goal of our panel is to bring awareness and helpful ideas to small businesses and content creators in cannabis as well as continue to challenge mainstream social media platforms using the incredible power of SXSW to hold them accountable.
