STEAM Experience to Boost Bilingual Learning

Going beyond traditional language teaching by integrating different subject areas sparks young bilingual learners’ interest in learning. As children are naturally eager to make discoveries about themselves and their surroundings, an experiential approach contributes to shaping sensitive human beings, besides enhancing problem-solving and thinking skills while learning an additional language. Such approach has proved effective in a myriad of Brazilian schools which implemented bilingual programs.
