Schools in nearly every community in America face persistent challenges in recruiting enough teachers to adequately educate students. At the same time, a rapidly diversifying student population is being served by a teaching corps that is overwhelmingly White. In this discussion, panelists will outline the challenges of recruiting and credentialing qualified educators, especially from diverse backgrounds and unique strategies to overcome those barriers.
